MERGER OF THE MAIN BOARD AND SECOND BOARD

We wish to inform that, with the implementation of the new framework for listings and equity fund-raising on 3 August 2009, the Main Board and Second Board will be merged into a single board, and will be known as the Main Market.

Persuant to the merger, your Corporation/Fund will be listed on the Main Market with effect from 3 August 2009. The Main Market Listing Requirements will also take full effect on the same date. However, the sector classification of your Corporation/Fund remains unchanged.

BANDAR BARU SELAYANG: MTD ACPI Engineering Bhd is scouting for more infrastructure construction projects in Sri Lanka, as it sees huge potential in the country’s construction sector.

Its chairman Datuk Nik Hussain Abdul Rahman said the MTD group, which is already involved in a housing project for public servants in Sri Lanka, had the support of a local partner there, and was expecting more jobs to boost its order book. [ More... ]

KUALA LUMPUR: MTD ACPI Engineering Bhd is likely to see a larger indirect exposure in Sri Lanka as its parent, MTD Capital Bhd, is actively seeking infrastructure projects there.

“MTD ACPI is already involved in the housing segment. We’re looking for a lot more from there,” chairman Datuk Dr Nik Hussein Abdul Rahman said after the company AGM yesterday.

KUALA LUMPUR: MTD ACPI Engineering Bhd remains optimistic of its prospects on the back of a burgeoning order book, said group managing director Datuk Azmil Khalid.
