MTD ACPI’s Persys bags RM440m job

MTD ACPI Engineering Bhd's 51 per cent unit Persys Sdn Bhd has won a RM440.12 million job to make and supply precast concrete segmental box girder for the second Penang bridge.

The 30-month job, is expected to be completed by end-2012.

In its filing to the stock exchange, MTD ACPI said profits will be shared 70:30 with the main contractor of the bridge UEM Builders Bhd via its unit Buildcast Sdn Bhd.
