Mr. Tee Kim Siew was appointed as Acting Chief Executive Officer of MTD ACPI Engineering Berhad (“MTD ACPI Group”) on 5 September 2017. On 2 May 2018, he was re-designated as Chief Executive Officer and appointed as Group Chief Financial Officer of MTD Capital Bhd (“MTD Group”) from 2018 to 2019.
Mr. Tee also heads the International Real Estate & Property Development Division of MTD Group. He is instrumental in shaping the development of MTD Group’s overseas’ real estate & property business in Australia and United Kingdom. He is the Chairman of the Management Committee of MTD ACPI Group. Mr. Tee began his professional accounting career at BSG Valentine, Simlers and Casson Beckman Chartered Accountants, London. He is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant, United Kingdom and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He returned to Malaysia and joined Metacorp Berhad in May 1996 as Head of Finance. Subsequently, he was appointed as Financial Controller of Metacorp Berhad in 2001. Due to his extensive experience in finance, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer of MTD Group in 2005, and was responsible for two other previously public listed companies namely, MTD InfraPerdana Bhd and Metacorp Berhad. Mr. Tee was also the Director of MTD Walkers PLC, a foreign subsidiary of MTD Group listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange in the Republic of Sri Lanka. He sits on the board of several other private limited companies. He holds 8,700 ordinary shares of MTD ACPI Engineering Berhad. |
